The ISCP provides distance learning courses in dog psychology and behaviour and related subjects, including handling, pet bereavement counselling, dog first aid, and more. The courses include both theory and practical work, and students in the UK qualify for National Union of Students membership.
We have students and graduates in 56 countries and we offer in-person practical study days in England, Scotland, Canada, Austria and Cyprus that are free to students. Non-members can attend these for a small fee.
Upcoming live courses on UKRS system (Please note the provider may have courses running which are not in our system)
I have undertaken both the Diploma and the Advanced Diploma in Canine Behaviour & Psychology, and i found them to be fascinating courses. As a result of my courses with the ISCP and their amazing community, I am now a Canine Behaviourist in my own right, and I continue to be involved with the community as I have found so much knowledge and also friendships there. They offer practical days around the country and abroad in their overseas branches, and continuing cpd, and also are a good grounding to work towards certification with professional bodies such as INTODogs. Of course, the courses are not just written for professionals, but for anyone who is keen to learn more about dogs, and fantastic support is given at all levels of knowledge to all students. I can't praise them enough.
