Health and Safety
This training course aims to give trainees knowledge, understanding and basic skills in the role as an appointed person for lifting operations. It introduces trainees to the hazards and risks involved with the role of an appointed person, the dangers of working in the industry, to comply with health and safety legislation and their responsibilities as an appointed person. The length of training may vary depending on the objectives covered, the ratio of trainee/instructor and the ability and previous experience of the trainees. The delivery of training covers a mix of both theory and practical elements.
