This training course is about cleaning biohazard scenes. Biohazard scenes can include crime and trauma scenes that have occurred in residential properties. This standard is intended to cover the clean-up processes involved. Biohazard scenes are extremely high risk environments for cleaning and it is important to consider the potential for contamination and infection when cleaning in these areas. The length of training may vary depending on the objectives covered, the ratio of trainee/instructor and the ability and previous experience of the trainees.
