Enjoy a practical day in local woodland learning the traditional method of coppicing and/or hedgelayering using a variety of hand tools. Equipment is provided but please bring your own steel toe capped footwear and dress appropriately for the weather conditions. The length of training may vary depending on the objectives covered, the ratio of trainee/instructor and the ability and previous experience of the trainees. The delivery of training covers a mix of both theory and practical elements.
