The training aims to give school children basic skills in ecological field survey techniques including basic tree and plant identification, tree measuring, soil identification, insect collection and identification, pond dipping. The course is to enhance outdoor learning and supplement biology a lesson as requested by school groups who we currently work with to provide outdoor education.
