Innate Botanical Selections

This is an applied behaviour method based on the innate ability of animals to select essential oils, medicinal herbs and natural botanicals for release, repair and enrichment. Innate Botanical Selections follows seasonal transitions drawing on herbal energetic and organoleptic (impression on the senses) experiences to expand and cement students learning. We pride ourselves on ensuring students develop a deep connected understanding of the botanicals and natural forage provided for animals. Innate Botanicals Selections course is designed to be completed within 2 years, 3 if required. Upon completion students are able to gain full practitioner insurance enabling them to practice the method on animals other than their own. Module 1: Description and science behind the method. The herbal language. Rules & procedures. Types & breadth of botanicals. Joining & succession of botanicals and Finding the favourites. This module is spread over several months and introduces the key concepts of animal self medication and herbalism with demonstrations, practice sessions and mandatory virtual live meetups Module 2: The interconnectedness of everything. This module teaches the student deeply immersive techniques to enhance connection with the herbs and animals. These sessions are engaging and at times releasing while providing a safe space for exploration of the self and the web of plant and animal energies.
