The International Diploma in Canine Osteopathy is geared toward osteopathic, musculoskeletal, and animal care professionals keen on integrating animal osteopathy into their current skill set. Program graduates are awarded the qualification of Canine Osteopath and may practice osteopathic manual therapy on dogs and other small animals. The course aligns with OFQUAL descriptors for level 5, and is delivered a vocational equivalent to this level/foundation degree. The program delivers a solid foundation in osteopathic thought and the treatment for dogs. The studies are offered in a self-paced, online learning format, allowing flexibility in earning your osteopathic qualification.Upon completion of the program, you will gain the knowledge and skills to deliver safe, rational, and effective osteopathic treatment dogs, though treatment principles can be applied to other animals as well. Practical hands on training of 4 days is completed at various times in the year across multiple international locations.
