This accredited training course will give trainees knowledge, understanding and basic skills in the safe use of air weapons that can be used for effective pest control. It introduces trainees to safe handling, firing and maintenance of air rifles and air pistols (air weapons) as well as the knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation in relation to air weapons and their security. On completion of this course you will be able to transport, carry, handle, load and discharge air weapons for pest control and understand current legislation relating to ownership, storage, transportation, carriage and use of air weapons. This one-day classroom based training covers a mix of both theory and practical elements.
