I am a practising HCPC Paramedic with 12 years of experience in a pre- hospital setting. I was also a member of the HART (Hazardous Are Response Team) for 3 years, who are specialist paramedics able to deliver medical care to patients in hazardous and challenging environments. I use my experience to develop First Aid courses that are appropriate for Hazardous Industries and general interests.
One such course is Arborist Specific First Aid Training that FoxMedics have developed and delivered to the Trees and Woodlands Department of Leicester City Council and Nottinghamshire County Council. The course enables the learners to use life-saving skills to use in their challenging and remote working environment. These skills are then put into practice through scenarios which enable the learner to feel confident with their training.
