Regulated qualification delivered by distance learning for unqualified veterinary assistants and similar. Available to anyone who wants to gain a formal qualification in their work, who has not achieved sufficient GCSEs for applying to the full veterinary nursing course. Achievement of this course together with GCSE Grade C or equivalent in maths and English will allow application to enter the level veterinary nursing qualification. You need to be in practice or have a placement to complete the practical units. Two textbooks are now provided with the course all of which is delivered via distance learning. The course fee covers registration, credit, unit and moderation fees with ABC Awards; internal verification and personal tutor. Awarding body is ABC Awards.
