This is a rigorous and thorough course in animal physiotherapy that aligns with Ofqual Level Descriptors for Level 6. Through detailed guided online learning, online lectures and workshops and self-study, preparation and presentation of case studies and the application of practical skills, trainees will cover: anatomy and physiology, business and professional communications, safe and effective use of physiotherapy techniques and equipment, orthopaedics and physiotherapy, neurology and physiotherapy, animal physiotherapy techniques, wounds, injuries and pharmacology, gait analysis, development and application of treatment and rehabilitation plans, related and complementary professions and practical physiotherapy case working. Trainees will also present a professional animal physiotherapy research dissertation.
