This training course aims to give trainees knowledge, understanding and basic skills in food safety in a manufacturing/retail environment. It introduces trainees to the risks involved with handling food and to comply with health and safety legislation and the skills needed for you to maintain workplace food safety standards in manufacturing/retail operations.
The length of training may vary depending on the objectives covered, the ratio of trainee/instructor and the ability and previous experience of the trainees. The delivery of training is theory based.
