This distance learning course aims to give the already knowledgeable equine manager further insight into the optimal running of a successful livery yard including client and business management, and practical equine welfare considerations. Learners will develop an understanding of the required documentation processes, health and safety procedures, employing and managing staff, marketing, financial management, and their responsibilities in the role of a Livery Yard Owner/Manager.
The length of training may vary depending on the ability and previous experience of the participant. The delivery of the course covers a mix of both theory and personal research.
