It introduces trainees to the preparation and use of equipment and machinery correctly and safely, with due regard for manufacturers’ instructions, legal and regulatory requirements and codes of practice. It covers the routine day-to-day checks and activities required before and after use to ensure that equipment and machinery continues to operate safely and effectively. This course is suitable for anyone who uses equipment and machinery. The length of training may vary depending on the objectives covered, the ratio of trainee/instructor and the ability and previous experience of the trainees. The delivery of training covers a mix of both theory and practical elements.
