UKRS member IAgSA launch farm administration careers video

With the ever-changing dynamics of agriculture, the need for trained and experienced farm administrators has never been greater. With this in focus, UKRS member IAgSA (Institute of Agricultural Secretaries and Administrators) have just launched a new short farm administration careers film.

The film which can be seen here on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IxRwFdRHfHU - features six agri-professionals who explain their varied and interesting roles in farm offices in East Anglia and the benefits of belonging to IAgSA.

A background in farming is not essential. IAgSA's training programme, accredited by UKRS, covers agricultural data analysis in detail, but a recognised book-keeping qualification such as AAT or ICB is recommended. Many farm administrators are freelancers benefiting from flexibility, regular hours and diversity. It can also be well paid for qualified and experienced practitioners. More details can be found on the IAgSA website.

The Chadacre Agricultural Trust, Felix Cobbold Trust and IAgSA Norfolk Branch funded the film and it was made by Green Shoots.
