Scenario – I am a training provider who offers training courses for emergency animal control which involves using live animals. Am I covered for this type of training course?
UKRS policy covers courses with live animals including sheep shearing, hoof trimming and emergency animal control.
Scenario – I am a training provider who often runs forklift courses at the customers site. If under the instructors’ supervision the 3rd party trainee uses the forklift for the course & test and has an accident, then the farmer’s own vehicle insurance only covers his employees. Are we covered for damage caused by the 3rd party trainee in this instance?
UKRS policy covers machinery/equipment belonging to Third Parties being used for training purposes on private land whilst in the custody of the insured. Maximum Sum Insured £500,000 at any one time over all member’s subject to a Single Article Limit £ 250,000.
