|
The primary factor of calculating your insurance quote will be your level of business activity, based on your turnover. We can offer a much reduced rate for our members with a minimum fee of £435.43+vat. If individual training providers were to arrange this insurance themselves the minimum premium would be £1,749.16+vat per policy. |
What is commercial property insurance? |
Commercial Property Insurance is used to cover any type of commercial property. Commercial property insurance protects commercial property from all risks of direct physical loss or damage to insured property, subject to policy terms, conditions and exclusions. |
What is public liability insurance? |
Public liability insurance is an essential cover and is especially important for customers to be sure that your business has the right business insurance. Even when a business does everything right there is always the chance of an accident happening. You might need this insurance if your business often comes face to face with members of the public – which includes your clients and contractors. |
What is employee fidelity insurance? |
Employee fidelity insurance is protection that covers policyholders for financial losses that they incur as a result of criminal taking by employees. |
Professional indemnity insurance |
If your business provides professional advice to customers, then you could benefit from Professional Indemnity insurance cover. |
Employers liability (optional) |
Employers' liability insurance insures your legal liability for bodily injury sustained by any person employed by you which arises out of and in the course of their employment. It is a legal requirement if your business employs one or more people. We can offer this to our members at an additional cost of £109.50+vat per member (inclusive of Insurance Premium Tax). |
Is your policy Aggregate or Limit per occurrence: |
UKRS policy offers limit per occurrence "Per Occurrence", limit refers to the total amount the insurance company will pay per incident during the policy term. "Aggregate" limit is the total amount the insurance company will pay for multiple claims over the course of one policy term. |
How do we calculate the insurance fees |
The primary factor of calculating your insurance quote will be your level of business activity, based on your turnover. |
Bodily Injury flowing from advice / training |
UKRS policy automatically covers Bodily Injury flowing from advice / training, an area of cover which is generally excluded under a standard Public Liability policy. This means that if a trainee injures either themselves or a colleague resulting from training our members have delivered, this would be included under the UKRS policy. |
Does your insurance cover all courses that you offer? |
We found that some insurances offered by other accrediting/awarding bodies only covered courses that were accredited by them. UKRS insurance covers any courses you offer irrespective of the accrediting or awarding body. |
Does your insurance cover training with live animals |
We found that some insurances would not offer cover for courses with live animals. UKRS insurance covers courses with live animals including sheep shearing, hoof trimming, emergency animal control. (Other activities involving live animals would be subject to referral). |
